Purposeful Baking

I will be joining with other bakers to support organizations who are serving communities of color and working towards ending systemic racism. I will be baking Bundt cakes in support of The Innocence Project. This initiative exonerates the wrongly convicted through DNA testing and reforms the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice. I will be donating 50% of sales to this initiative#BakersForBlackLives

About Me

Hi there! I am a Baton Rouge native that owned a home based bakery for about 4 years. My passion for baking started at a young age baking with my mom. In 2012, I took a cupcake class at a local party store and from there, my bakery was born! During my time as a bakery owner, I learned so much about myself and perfecting my craft. In 2017, I decided to hang my apron up to focus more on myself and my family. Although I no longer bake for profit, I still love to bake and create. I knew I had to get involved with #BakersForBlackLives. It is my way of contributing to the fight against racial injustices in our nation. I hope that you decideto support this worthy cause. You can learn more about The Innocence Project at innocenceprojct.org You can also donate directly to them on their website.
